The name Jade for a boy and Sora for a girl?

My best friend is pregnant with her first child and she and her husband are thinking of names for their baby girl. They are stuck between Brittney and Katelyn. Don't get me wrong, those are pretty names, but I honestly don't want to name my children a name that they will share with thousands of others. I feel as though names shouldn't always have to be just like everyone else. So I was wondering what you guys thought about the name Jade for a boy and Sora for a girl. These are names that I've held onto for a couple of years because they are strong possibilities of what I want to name my children. Thanks for your comments!
