Why has believing in Near & Middle Eastern gods cost the loss of lives, time, and money throughout history?

I am so tired of watching the spectacle of religions requiring the worship of Near and Middle Eastern gods costing this world all it's resources and time. People of European ancestry have been subjected to the tyranny of these gods for century upon century. Europeans were slaughtered by the millions when they were forced to convert to one of these religions, forced to believe in one of these gods. The near eastern gods weren't their original gods, these belief systems weren't their original religion. The cost is more than enormous--the death and destruction unfathomable. When will you make yourself free of the thought of these gods that cause you to torture and mutilate and maime and destroy? Where is the goodness is all of this? What will it take for you to give up these things that destroy--the complete annihilation of this world? Not every one wants to participate in this self-destruction with you. You don't have the right in whatever god's name to destroy the rest of us.
