Should I return my jeans?

I bought these "Boyfriend" jeans from American Eagle and I'm not quite sure if they are the right fitting. They are fine around the hips, waist and but not around the tighs. They seem a bit loose around my thighs. They look kind of wrinkly around the tighs..Well I guess because they are a wide leg. They looked good at the store :(.
