Cham wow and Sham wow?

i recently went to the New York State Fair and i found a guy selling Chamwows not Shamwows. when i asked him about this he said the company changed the name. i wanted to know if anyone else has heard of this and if i should beware of this guy because he is a shamwow immitator.
